"Tuesday night is club night, now moved to The County Arms, Castle Hill from 8.30pm. If you can't find us, ask for IVC at the bar. Cheers!!"
We publish our future events in a monthy printed bulletin which is sent to each member. But we also publicise events online on a website called Activity Exchange which is shared by IVCs all over the country. You can preview our local events by following this link :

(Events with a red dot
in the margin are public, which means you can click on the event title to see more details. If there is no red dot, you need a password which we'll give you when you become a member.)
You're wecome to try us out first to see if we're the right sort of club for you. Just send us your name and address to sendabulletin@cambsivc.org and we'll pop a bulletin in the post to you. Feel free to come along to a couple of events in the bulletin.
Cambridge IVC is a vibrant and friendly social activities club based in the historic city of Cambridge, UK. Founded in the 1970s by a couple of student friends who were looking to continue their social life after graduation, the club now has close to 120 members in this region, with many more in other affiliated IVC clubs across the UK.
There's always something happening in the club... from bridge to badminton, pubs to parties, curries to club night, our monthly bulletin is always brimming with Interest, Variety and Culture so you can try new things, make new friends and kick-start your social life.
If you enjoy walking we regulary organise outings to some of England's most picturesque areas. For those who like to let their hair down there are parties, boogie-nights and ceilidhs happening on a regular basis. In the summer there are weekends away to the country staying in reasonably priced YHA mansions and houses. In fact, there's always something to look forward to with Cambridge IVC.
Club night is great for meeting old and new friends, for discussing what's coming up, and for finding out all the latest hot gossip! We meet nearly every Tuesday from 8.30pm at the County Arms, Castle Hill. (Ask for us at the bar if you can't find us). You're welcome to join us even if you're not a member. Once a month club night is held in a different pub, just to make a change! Keep an eye on the bulletin or the Actvities page on this site for more information.
(If you're disabled and are interested in joining, but your disability prevents you getting to the club night venue, please get in touch and we'll do our very best to meet your particular needs.)
Membership is open to anyone aged over 18. Cost per individual is £30 per year, or £45 for a couple living at the same address.
Included in your membership are monthly club bulletins, delivered to your door at the start of every month, with details of all the month's upcoming activities. You'll also be subscribed to the events mailing list so you can be kept informed of ad-hoc events not included in the bulletin.
To apply for membership, simply complete and sign the membership application form and post it to the address on the form.
